El Jazz de Panamá vive en Danilo´s
As part of the 16th Panama Jazz Festival 2019 we invite you to “The Jazz of Panama lives in Danilo’s”, where different presentations of talented and excellent artists will be performed, who will grace the stage with the best of jazz. They will be incomparable musical evenings, in which the public will be delighted with masterful interpretations. They will be held at Danilo’s Jazz Club at 9:00 p.m.
– Monday 14:
DeDé: artists who mix folk and contemporary music, Latin and Caribbean rhythms, and free jazz, among others, giving a unique identity to national jazz.
– Tuesday 15:
Luz Acosta Ensamble: Panamanian artist. Singing teacher at the Danilo Pérez Foundation. It seeks to mix elements of sounds and Panamanian Folkloric rhythms with Latin Jazz and other genres in their compositions.
– Wednesday 16:
Idania Dowman & The Emotions: the lady of jazz with its interpretive power and its musicians, are the perfect union to present a high quality show that envelops with its magic in each presentation to the national and international public.
– Thursday 17:
The Blues Dogs: these five musical brothers connect music from their hearts, honor the art of traditional blues and seek beauty, seduction and genius in the simplicity of the genre.
– Friday 18:
Calabar: 2015 was born as a proposal of Afro-Caribbean experimental music in Panama, based on a set of genres and rhythms that go through the danzón, rumba cubana, calypso, changüí, son, mambo, guarachas, boleros, download, drums, cha cha cha and other musical proposals rich in rhythm, harmony and melodies.
