Fae 2019: Camargo
The 9th International Festival of Performing Arts (Fae 2019) presents the Colombian suspense documentary “Camargo”, produced by the Congregación Teatro. This play will be on stage on Saturday, March 16, at 7:30 pm at the Anita Villalaz Theater.
Synopsis: Between December of 1984 and February of 1986 a wave of terror shook Ecuador, Colombia and its surroundings. Corpses of women between eight and 20 years of age, all virgins; They were found in secluded, lonely and forested places. According to the investigations, the deaths had been caused by strangulation and mechanical asphyxia with signs of rape almost at the moment of death. No one imagined that behind these strange and atrocious disappearances would be a kind, weak-looking man, the Colombian: Daniel Camargo Barbosa.
The International Festival of Performing Arts of Panama (FAE) is a biennial artistic-cultural event, which brings together a selection of the best of theater and contemporary dance in Latin America and the world in the Panamanian capital for a week. It will take place from March 14 to 20 in different scenarios.
