“17th Panama Jazz Festival” presents a new night of concerts by “Cambridge Rindge and Latin High School and Guillermo Nojechowicz”. The presentations will be held on Tuesday, January 14, from 10:30 pm in Villa Agustina. At the rhythm of jazz and with their personal touch, international musicians will show excellent performances of varied melodies.

“Cambridge Rindge and Latin High School” (USA): school musical ensemble with a base in listening, improvisation, organization, concert preparation and experience in a small ensemble environment, and always looking to give students opportunities musical beyond those generated by the institution. World Jazz Ensemble has performed at Ryles Jazz Club, Broad Institute, Tutoring Plus, Cambridge River Festival, Cambridge Public Library and at the Panama Jazz Festival.

“Guillermo Nojechowicz” (Argentina): leader and percussionist of band EL ECO, Brazilian-Argentine fusion jazz band. Combining samba and candombe with the tightest lines of direct jazz, dominates styles such as Cuban, Afro-Cuban, Brazilian, funk and, of course, tango.

“The Great Patio Party” will pay tribute to Panamanian saxophonist “Reggie Johnson”. As is tradition, different activities will be carried out, including clinics, auditions, symposiums, live art, workshops, concerts, jam sessions and global stage.
