Until January 18, the “17th Panama Jazz Festival”, “The Great Patio Party” will be held in tribute to “Reggie Johnson”. In this edition and as is tradition, different activities will be carried out, including clinics, auditions, symposiums, live art, workshops, concerts, global stage and jam sessions.
This Thursday, January 16 at 11:30 P.M. In Villa Agustina the “Jam Session” will be in charge of the “Danilo Pérez Foundation”. This is a meeting where national and international musicians of the highest quality share the stage and exchange musical ideas through improvisation.
“Danilo Pérez Foundation” (Panama): it was established in 2005 in Panama City, but the work and spirit that personifies its mission have its origins more than 50 years ago when Danilo Pérez Urriola, father of the Panamanian pianist of the same name He developed music education programs in Colon, Panama with young people at risk.
The foundation of the Foundation’s work is music education and more generally, sustainable human development. Its purpose is to provide opportunities for young people to develop their full potential and lead a productive life.
