“17th Panama Jazz Festival” the “Great Patio Party” presents this time, a compilation of top-quality artists, including: “Berklee Global Jazz Institute, Paris Conservatory, Daniel Vincent Nagel, GAIA, Nadia Washington and Siena Jazz “, sponsored by Berklee College of Music.
They will offer a varied presentation, performing various musical pieces with their unique style and that will delight the public, taking them on a sound tour through different countries. The concert will be on Friday, January 17, at 9:00 pm at Danilo´s Jazz Club.

“Berklee Global Jazz Institute” (Global): is a creative music institute with a progressive vision to develop the artist of the new millennium. His curriculum is designed to foster creativity and musicality through various musical disciplines, with the pianist and composer Danilo Pérez as its artistic director.
“Conservatorio de Paris” (France): it is one of the best schools in the world of music, dance and sound professions. For those who pass between its walls, it is a place of learning without equivalent, a breeding ground for modernity and the encounter between creators and performers.
“Daniel Vincent Nagel” (Amsterdam): He started playing the double bass at age 17. He currently lives in Amsterdam, studying at the prestigious Conservatorium van Amsterdam. Co-leading the German Quintet WELS and with many other formations, he has been playing concerts in the Netherlands, Germany, France, United Kingdom, Lithuania, Latvia, Finland, Spain, Switzerland and Italy.
“GAIA” (Global): International organization consisting of five of the most prestigious conservatories and music schools in the world: Berklee Global Jazz Institute, School of Jazz and Contemporary Music of The New School in New York, Conservatorium van Amsterdam, Conservatoire National Supérieur by Musique et de Danse de Paris and Siena Jazz Academy. Its purpose is to explore, define and implement new ways to educate music students.
“Nadia Washington” (USA): rises to any occasion as a composer, producer, educator and vocalist. The award-winning talent has been presented with renowned artists in Jazz and R&B, including: Esperanza Spalding, Lalah Hathaway, Dianne Reeves, Terri Lynn Carrington and the late George Duke, in addition to having an impact on Hip Hop World, including Ray Angry of the root, Georgia Anne Muldrow and Dj Mark De Clive-Lowe.
“Siena Jazz” (Italy): recognized for many years as a highly qualified educational institution, a reference point throughout the country for specialization, qualification and masters courses for young musicians who leave music schools or begin their careers in Jazz and its contemporary derivations.
“Berklee College of Music” (USA): its mission is to educate and train students to develop their full potential in the musical career. Founded in jazz and popular music rooted in the diaspora of African culture, its comprehensive curriculum is contemporary in its content and focus, covering the main musical movements of our time.
