“Latin American Art Tribute Concert”

After the success of the first concert on August 26, 2018, different groups of artists come together to organize this event for the 2nd time. “TRIBUTE TO LATIN AMERICAN ART” was born as a charity concert in favor of the studies of Panamanian artist Ayrton Paul, who is now studying at the International School of Film and TV in San Antonio de los Baños, Cuba.

The concert will be performed by important musicians of the scene in Panama as singer-songwriter Yek Gamboa, percussionist Alejandro Guerra, saxophonist Narayan Corrioso and other important musicians.

The event will be on August 24, 2019, from 05:00 pm to 06:30 pm and 07:30 pm to 09:00 p.m. in GEGU (Experimental Group of University Cinema) Next to the CSS of Transistmica.

This is a concert that was born from the need to demonstrate the similarities that exist in Latin American culture through music and to bring some music from different Latin American countries to Panama for one night. Interpreting important topics such as Alfosina and the sea (Argentina), Maria Lando (Peru), Tonada de Luna Lunana (Venezuela), Congo (Panama), among other important issues in creating links between Latin American countries.
