Fae 2019: Halfway to Dawn
The 9th International Festival of Performing Arts (Fae 2019) invites you to enjoy “Halfway to Dawn”, a staging of contemporary dance of the Reality Company. This presentation will be full of passion and an impacable staging, leading the audience to live and enjoy an unparalleled artistic experience, on Wednesday, March 20 at 7:30 pm at the Balboa Theater.
Halfway to Dawn redefines “biography” as the intersection of facts, conjectures, comments, abstraction and fantasy; as he seeks to discover the complicated emotional “truths” of the life of gay, African-American jazz composer Billy Strayhorn, while creating a dialogue about our urgent social “truths.”
The International Festival of Performing Arts of Panama (FAE) is a biennial artistic-cultural event, which brings together a selection of the best of theater and contemporary dance in Latin America and the world in the Panamanian capital for a week. It will take place from March 14 to 20 in different scenarios.
