Presentación Literaria: Panamá Moderno
Within the framework of the 500 years of foundation of the city of Panama and 105 years of anniversary of the Panama Canal, the Boquete Library Foundation is pleased to invite you to the presentation of a book of great historical relevance: “Modern Panama: Of territory busy to the center of the Americas. ” From the authorship of Michael L. Conniff and Gene E. Bigler, two professors with several decades of research.
This material focuses on the exciting Panamanian history since the Torrijos-Carter Treaties entered into force in 1979. For sure, both young and old will increase or acquire knowledge that will allow them to understand more clearly the future of the Panamanian nation.
Contributing to the literary promotion, this activity is free and will take place next Sunday, August 18, in bilingual format (Spanish / English), at 4:00 p.m. in the facilities of the Boquete Library.
