Taller de Hallacas
On Friday, November 15 at 7:00 pm, at Atelier Panama Cocina – Studio, you will have the opportunity to participate in the “Workshop of Hallacas” and learn to prepare this delicious traditional Christmas dish of Venezuelan cuisine.
You can cook your hallacas and enjoy them at home with your family, the participants can take 7 hallacas !. This day will also prepare chicken salad, the ideal complement to combine with the main preparation.

The hallaca: it is a tamale typical of Venezuela. It consists of a mass of cornmeal seasoned with chicken or chicken broth and pigmented with onoto or achiote, stuffed with beef, pork and chicken or chicken stew, to which olives, raisins, capers, are added. paprika and onion, wrapped rectangular in banana leaves, to finally be tied with wick or pita and boiled in water.
