Red Hot Chili Peppers is an American band of funk rock and alternative rock from Los Angeles, California. Since its formation, the band has sold more than 85 million copies around the world, was admitted to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and has won seven Grammy awards throughout a career spanning over thirty years.

Its origin goes back to the Fairfax High School where they were called Anthym and where they had as an anchorman Anthony Kiedis. Thanks to this, the band was called to be the opening act of Neighbor`s Voice, for which they changed their name to Tony Flow and the Miraculously Majestic Master of Mayhem. Since they made a very good presentation, they were called again although this time they changed the name definitively to that of Red Hot Chili Peppers.
